Furniture Upholstery

Restore solid frames with new fabric. Dining chairs, armchairs, commercial seating — crafted in our Sunnynook workshop.

The frame is solid. The springs still have life. But the fabric is worn, stained or just dated. That's the sweet spot for reupholstery — and it's almost always cheaper than buying new furniture of comparable quality.

Paul handles everything from single dining chairs to full commercial dining sets. Mid-century armchairs with geometric patterns, traditional club chairs with pinstripes, rows of restaurant seating in dark leather — the workshop sees all of it.

What We Reupholster

  • Dining chairs — single pieces or full sets
  • Armchairs and lounge chairs (mid-century, traditional, modern)
  • Commercial seating for restaurants, cafes and offices
  • Occasional chairs, ottomans and bench seats

The Process

  1. Bring the piece (or photos) to the workshop for assessment
  2. Discuss fabric options — you can supply your own or get recommendations
  3. Paul strips old fabric, repairs padding and springs if needed
  4. New fabric applied with pattern matching and proper tension
  5. Collection when complete — timeline depends on project size
