Meet Paul
The craftsman behind Timeless Upholstery — serving Auckland's North Shore with personal, expert service since day one.
Our Story
Built on Craft, Not Shortcuts
Timeless Upholstery is Paul's workshop on Auckland's North Shore — a place where solid furniture gets a second life. Dining chairs, armchairs, commercial seating, heirloom pieces. If the frame is worth keeping, we can restore it.
Paul runs the workshop at 213B Sunnynook Road in Wairau Valley. Walk in and you'll see furniture in various stages of restoration — frames stripped bare, fabric samples laid out on workbenches, finished chairs waiting for collection.
The work is hands-on and personal. When you visit, Paul assesses your piece with you. Frame condition. Padding and springs. Fabric options. Timeline and cost. No forms, no call centre — just a direct conversation with the person who'll do the work.
We've reupholstered everything from a single mid-century armchair to full restaurant dining sets. Pattern matching on striped fabrics, heavy-duty vinyl for commercial use, delicate restoration on inherited pieces. Each project gets the same attention.
Most residential jobs take one to two weeks depending on queue and fabric availability. Larger commercial projects are scheduled by arrangement. Either way, you deal with Paul from first visit to collection.
